The social transforming demand changes in the models of public administration affecting too, the public politic management of security. This requirement finds in Production Engineering elements capable to support to this reality. The present work, based on the bibliography research, brings to the reflection the incorporation of the Production Engineering to the Public Administration, specifically at the administration of the service of the police. Because of the large area of applicability was chosen to direct the study to quality management with the creation of parameters for measuring performance in the public service provision.
